As part of the Goa Management Association’s periodic visits to member organisations and other industries, to learn their operations and management practices and to improve networking and relations, GMA organised a visit of its Executive Committee delegation to Berger Becker Coatings Pvt Limited at Pilerne.
Berger Becker Coatings, a part of the Beckers Group, is India’s number-one coil coatings company providing high-performance solutions to automotive, white goods and other industries.
The GMA delegation led by Mr Deepak Bandekar, Chairman, consisted of EC members, Dr Krishna Gopal Rajanala, Mr Amin Ladak, Mr Vasu Ramanujam, and Ms Lalita V Ramanujam.
During the visit, Mr Rajesh Mehrotra, Managing Director, and his team consisting of Chetan Prakash, Senior Vice President – R&D and Technical, Sanjay Saxena, GM – Marketing, Ashim Mitra, Senior Manager – Finance, Sushama, Senior Executive – Production Admin, Brahmanand Parab, Manager – HR, Suryakant Nayak, Maintenance Manager and Rahul Narulker, Executive – Technical, provided valuable insights into their history and operations. They highlighted their outlook on sustainability; the three-pronged strategy of their company, People With Impact, Products with Impact and Operations with Impact, to ensure that people, products and operations positively impact the environment through their ambitious goals and strategy.
The GMA delegation later visited the plant facilities, laboratory, quality control, testing, production area, warehouse and firefighting infrastructure.
